Circumstances:
The airplane departed RAF Wyton at 2031LT on March 11 on an operation to Stuttgart. While returning to base the following night, it was shot down by a German fighter and crashed in Sogny-en-l'Angle. Two crew members were killed, two evaded and three became PoW.
