The twin engine airplane was engaged in a sunset skydiving flight, carrying a pilot and 10 skydivers. While taking off from runway 08/26, the aircraft went out of control and crashed in flames along the perimeter fence. The aircraft was totally destroyed by impact forces and a post-crash fire and all 11 occupants were killed.

Following an uneventful paratroopers mission in the region of Biskra, the crew was returning to Biskra-Mohamed Khider Airport when, on final approach, the airplane crashed few km short of runway and came to rest, broken in two. All nine crew members were injured and the aircraft was destroyed. A day later, one of the survivor died from his injuries.

The single engine aircraft departed Clonbullogue Aerodrome at 1413LT with 16 skydivers, a young boy and a pilot. Once the altitude of 13,000 feet was reached 19 minutes later, all 16 skydivers jumped and the pilot elected to return to his departure point. For unknown reason, the airplane went out of control and plummeted in a wooded area located 2 km northwest of the airfield. The pilot and the boy aged seven were killed. The boy, a Polish citizen, was the son of one of the skydiver.

On April 26, 2018, about 1715 eastern daylight time, a Cessna 402B, N87266, was substantially damaged during landing at Tanner-Hiller Airport (8B5), Barre Plains, Massachusetts. The private pilot and two passengers were not injured. No flight plan was filed for the local personal flight that was conducted under the provisions of Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations Part 91. Visual meteorological conditions prevailed at the time of the accident. The flight departed Dillant-Hopkins Airport (EEN), Keene, New Hampshire, about 1630. According to the pilot, he was trying to land at 8B5 in gusty wind conditions and performed two go-arounds prior to landing on runway 06. He said the wind was "bumpy" below the trees, and he made a steep approach to the runway "consistent with a short field landing." He flared about midfield, and the airplane continued to float down the runway. He stated the airplane "floated and floated much further down the runway than normal" even though he approached the runway at a "normal" airspeed of 95 knots and with full flaps. The airplane touched down and despite maximum braking, overran the departure end of runway 06, and impacted trees. The pilot and passengers egressed the airplane before a post-impact fire ensued. The pilot stated that he believed he encountered a wind rotor over the trees, which changed the direction of the wind to a quartering tailwind. He checked the weather at three surrounding airports, but he did not trust the wind reports. He did not get a weather briefing before the flight. A FAA inspector examined the airplane where it came to rest, about 300 ft past the end of the 3,027 ft-long runway. The left wing outboard of the left engine impacted trees. The left wingtip was separated, and the left horizontal stabilizer was damaged. All major components were accounted for at the scene and all flight controls were functional. According to FAA records, the pilot held a private pilot certificate with ratings for airplane single-engine and multi-engine land airplane. His most recent FAA third-class airman medical certificate was issued December 7, 2009. A review of the pilots logbooks revealed he had about 330 hours of total flight time flight time and 220 hours of multi-engine flight time. At 1654, the weather conditions reported at Worcester Regional Airport (ORH), about 13 miles southeast of 8B5, included wind from 270° at 16 knots gusting to 27 knots, visibility 10 statute miles, scattered clouds at 4,500 ft, temperature 14°C, dew point 4°C, and an altimeter setting of 29.70 inches of mercury.

The pilot of the twin-engine, turbine-powered airplane reported that, while providing flights for skydivers throughout the day, he had a potential new hire pilot flying with him in the right seat. He added that, on the eighth flight of the day, the new pilot was flying during the approach and "approximately 200 feet south from the threshold of [runway] 15 at approximately 15 feet AGL [above ground level] the bottom violently and unexpectedly dropped out. [He] believe[d] some kind of wind shear caused the aircraft [to] slam onto [the] runway and bounce into the air at a 45 to 60-degree bank angle to the right." The prospective pilot then said, "you got it." The pilot took control of the airplane and initiated a go-around by increasing power, which aggravated the "off runway heading." The right wing contacted the ground, the airplane exited the runway to the right and impacted a fuel truck, and the right wing separated from the airplane. The impact caused the pilot to unintentionally add max power, and the airplane, with only the left engine functioning, ground looped to the right, coming to rest nose down.
Probable cause:
The prospective pilot's improper landing flare and the pilot's delayed remedial action to initiate a go-around, which resulted in a runway excursion.

Probable cause:

The single engine airplane was engaged in a local skydiving mission, carrying a crew of two (one pilot and one mechanic) and four skydivers on behalf of the Aviation Légère de l'Armée de Terre (ALAT). Just after takeoff, while climbing, black smoke was coming out from the engine that lost power. The pilot attempted an emergency landing on a road but due to traffic, he tried to land in an open field when the airplane struck a bank and crashed in flames. All six occupants were injured and the aircraft was destroyed. Six days later, the mechanic died from his injuries.
Probable cause:
The engine failure was due to the fact that the fuel in the tanks was not compliant as a result of an error made by the driver of the fuel-truck who had just refueled the airplane at lunch break. Investigations revealed that the truck driver was intoxicated with a blood alcohol level of 1.2 ‰ and that he had switched both the fuel boxes.

- Corrosion deposit found blocking accelerator pump outlet orifice of Bendix Stromberg NA-Y9E1 carburetor.

Probable cause:
Stall during climb due to inadequate preflight preparation on part of the pilot. The following contributing factors were reported:
- Lack of familiarity with aircraft,
- Failed to abort takeoff,
- Failed to maintain flying speed,
- Improperly loaded aircraft and CofG,
- Inadequate maintenance and inspection,
- Failure of the ignition system: spark plugs,
- Improper fuel grade,
- 953 pounds over max gross weight,
- CofG about 2.5 inches aft of limit,
