Circumstances:
Two pilots and one instructor were performing a training flight on behalf of the fifteenth Army Training School. After rotation, the aircraft encountered problems to gain height. It hit the tail of a parked Lockheed Hudson, stalled and crashed in flames near the runway end. Quickly on scene, SAR teams were able to evacuate a pilot seriously injured while both other occupants were killed.
Probable cause:
Poor judgment on part of the crew who was not sufficiently trained and experienced, causing the loss of control of the aircraft just after lift off.
