On the leg from Kaksinvai to Kirov of a positioning flight from Malmyzh to Kirov (returning from crop-spraying operations) when the intoxicated crew flew risky manoeuvre at very low height. While 'hopping' over a group of trees some 15 km east of Shurma (Urzhum district of the Kirov region), the aircraft lost speed and yawed, crashed in a forest, caught fire and burnt out. Both pilots and the sole passenger (an aircraft mechanic who was in the second pilot's seat) were killed.
Probable cause:
Pilot error.
