Circumstances:
The airplane departed RAF Rougham (Bury St Edmunds) to attack power stations in IJmuiden. Approaching Rotterdam, it was shot down by the German Flak and crashed in the Maas River in Maassluis. Two crew members were killed while four others were rescued and became PoW.
