Circumstances:
Three crew members (pilots and engineers) were conducting a test flight in the Milan area. En route, the crew encountered technical problems with the fuel supply system and was forced to attempt an emergency landing. The airplane crash landed in an open field and was damaged beyond repair. All three occupants escaped unhurt.
Probable cause:
Failure of the fuel supply system.
