Circumstances:
The crew was performing a demonstration flight during a War Bond tour. One of the engine caught fire in flight, forcing the crew to attempt an emergency landing. The airplane crash landed in a pasture then skidded for few dozen metres before coming to rest. While all 22 occupants were uninjured, the aircraft was damaged beyond repair.
