Circumstances:
The crew was performing a maritime patrol flight off the French coast. En route, both engines failed, forcing the crew to ditch the aircraft near Cape Gris Nez, west of Calais. The pilot was killed while both air gunner were rescued. The aircraft sunk and was lost.
