Circumstances:
The aircraft departed Lipa City Airport on a flight to Manila and should be delivered to Crown Cargo Express for several missions. On approach to Ninoy Aquino Airport, the crew informed ATC about engine problems. The captain attempted an emergency landing when the aircraft struck power cables and crashed in a rice paddy field located in Santa Rosa, about 25 km south of the airport. All nine occupants escaped uninjured while the aircraft was damaged beyond repair.
Probable cause:
Engine problems for unknown reasons.

Circumstances:
En route from Roxas City to Calapan, while cruising at an altitude of 8,500 feet, the left engine suffered severe vibrations and was shut down. While descending to Calapan by night, at an altitude of 900 feet, the airplane stalled and crashed into the sea about 200 meters offshore. Seven occupants were rescued while one of the pilot was killed.
Probable cause:
It is believed that the airplane stalled on descent due to an insufficient speed.
