After landing on runway 29, aircraft encountered problem to stop within the remaining distance. It overrun, hit the localizer antenna, lost all its undercarriage and slid on a distance of some 285 meters before coming to rest. While all 130 occupants were evacuated safely, the aircraft is damaged beyond repair.

While overflying the Salang mountains, the aircraft hit the ground and crashed. Debris were found two days later by ISAF helicopter crew. All 44 occupants were killed. Visibility was poor due to fog at the time of the accident.

On landing, the aircraft overran runway 24 by 30 metres, lost its right landing gear and came to rest on its right engine. Nobody was injured. Few days later, the tail was dismantled and the aircraft was declared as damaged beyond repair.

The aircraft was flying from Herat to Kabul with 96 passengers and a crew of 8 on board. Landing at Kabul was impossible due to snowstorm and the crew decided to divert to Peshawar, Pakistan. Few minutes later, while flying in bad weather conditions, the aircraft struck a snow covered mountain at 3,300 metres high located 35 km East of Kabul. The first rescuers from the NATO corps in Afghanistan found the debris only 24 hours later. Nobody survived. It could be possible that crew lost its situational awareness due to bad weather conditions. Fuel exhaution is also a possible cause.

The crew diverted to Termez but the airport was closed due to fog. So the crew eventually diverted to Dushanbe. On landing, the aircraft skidded on runway and came to rest. Nobody was injured but the aircraft was damaged beyond repair.
