The aircraft was making a cargo flight from Sebha (Libya) to N'Djamena on behalf of the Libyan Air Force with a crew of 6 and food aid to Chad. Upon arrival, the crew informed ATC about technical problem and few minutes later, the aircraft crashed in an open field located on the opposite side of N'Djamena, on the Cameroon territory, near the city of Kousseri. All six occupants were killed and the aircraft was totally destroyed upon impact.
