The aircraft was making a special flight from Mulia to Ilaga for the regency administration to visit several districts in the Irian Jaya region. While flying at 10,500 feet, the aircraft struck the peak of Puncak Jaya. Rescue teams found the debris of the aircraft the next day. All 12 occupants were killed. |
