Circumstances |
On approach to Tarakan-Juwata Airport, the crew was informed of the poor visibility due to forrest fire and smoke. On landing, the aircraft veered off runway 06/24 (1,845 metres long), lost its undercarriage and one engine and eventually stopped. Nobody was injured but the aircraft was damaged beyond economical repair. |
