Circumstances |
The pilot, sole occupant, was performing a demonstration flight on this second prototype to a group of invited guests staying on the ground. Shortly after takeoff, the aircaft turned to rejoin the landing pattern when it plunged into a meadow approximately 4,5 miles from the runway. The pilot was killed and the aircraft, the first Grob business all-composite jet was completely destroyed upon impact. |
