The aircraft stalled and crashed on takeoff from Tehran-Mehrabad airport. The aircraft was making a flight to Shiraz for the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps Air Force (IRGCAF). Three passengers were seriously injured and transferred to local hospital but according to Iranian authorities, all of them died few hours later. It seems that a technical problem occurred on one engine shortly after rotation. |
