Circumstances |
On approach, pilots encountered technical problem with gear and elected to perform a low pass in front of the tower. ATC confirmed that the landing gear were not fully down and locked so the crew eventually decided to perform a belly landing. The aircraft landed safely but the left engine was destoyed and the aircraft was considered as damaged beyond repair. Nobody was hurt. |
