|
Shortly after take off from Biggin Hill airport, outbound for Pau, France, the crew send a mayday message to ATC. The aircraft eventually crashed onto one house in the quarter of Broadwater Gardens in Farnborough, Kent. All five occupants were killed and the house, unoccupied at the time of the accident, was destroyed. Among the occupants were the racer David Leslie and his boss Richard Lloyd. It seems that a technical failure occurred on one engine. |
