|
After a maintenance program in Chisinau, the aircraft was flying back to Khartoum via Antalya, Turkey. Shortly after takeoff, crew informed ATC about a defect of the onboard equipment and received the authorisation to return to the airport. On final approach, the aircraft knocked against the navigation equipment with its wings and exploded. All 8 occupants, among them 4 technicians, were killed. The aircraft was also carrying 2,000 kg of oils. |
