Circumstances |
On departure, the aircraft did not take off and overrun the 8,000 feet runway. It went through a road and came to rest in flames on a small hill. Both pilots and two passengers were killed while two others were critically injured. Both passengers who were admitted in a local hospital for high burns were DJ AM & Travis Barker of the Rock band called "Blink". They were travelling back to California after they gave a concert in South Carolina. It seems that the crew elected to abort the take off roll after a tire blew out. |
