|
While descending for Traverse City airport, the engine lost power and the pilot tried to make an emergency landing in an open field. Just before touch down, about 90 mph, the left wing hit trees and was sheared off. The aircraft crashed and was damaged beyond repair. The pilot escaped unhurt. |
