|
On a skydiving training flight, while cruising at 7,500 feet, the engine lost power. The pilot descended to 5,000 feet and all 14 skydivers jump outside. On final approach to Greensburg-Decatur airport, the pilot lost visibility due to thick smoke coming out from the engine and also oil spreading on the windshield. The airplane overrun the runway into a corn field and overturned. The pilot was uninjured while the aircraft was damaged beyond repair. |
