Circumstances |
On landing on runway 02, the aircraft did not decelerate as expected and overrun. It came onto a street, destroyed several cars and came to rest in a wall. The captain and two passengers were killed as two other people in ground vehicles. At least 81 passengers were injured. The aircraft was destroyed. At the time of the accident, the tropical depression called Alma hung over the city with high winds and strong rains. |
