|
The aircraft was performing an ambulance flight to Thompson with two patients on board, one nurse and two pilots. Shortly after take off from God's Lake Narrows, fire and smoke in the cockpit forced the crew to return to the airport. On final approach, the twin engine aircraft hit tress and crashed in a wooded area located 3 km from airport. All 5 occupants escaped with minor injuries but the aircraft was destroyed by fire. |
