The single engine aircraft was performing a flight from
Voronezh to Moscow-Domodedovo with 6 pax and 2 pilots on board. While
descending to Domodedovo airport, the aircraft crashed in a forest located
10 km northeast of Stupino, Moscow region, near Staroye village. All
eight occupants were killed. At the time of the accident, the weather
conditions were as follow : snowstorm, poor visibility, icing conditions
and gusty winds. The aircraft left Voronezh at 2117LT for an ETA at
Domodedovo at 2240LT. Preliminary datas shows that the aircraft encountered
icing conditions while descending thrue Domodedovo airport with the
autopilot still engaged.
