The pilote was alone on board of this twin engine aircraft
built in 1981. He was flying from Algona (Iowa) to Bozeman to ski. On
final approach, the aircraft disappeared from the radar screen over
the Horseshoe Hills, north of Manhattan, few miles from the airport.
The debris of the aircraft and the dead body of the pilote were found
the day after around 08:00 in the morning. The weather conditions at
the time of the accident were as follow : -6° C. with light snow,
fog, visibility around 4 km and 7 mph wind.
