Circumstances
 
The aircraft was performing a business flight from Richmond (Virginia) to Santa Ana (California) with two intermediate stop at Columbia and Pueblo for refuel. On descent, the aircraft crashed in an open field located 4 miles East of Pueblo-Memorial airport. All occupants were fatally injured. At the time of the accident, the weather was cold with 27° F., freezing conditions and light fog. Visibility was estimated to 6 miles. Accident was due to icing and crew did not activate deicing system.
