While approaching Florida, the pilot sent a mayday message and the twin engine aircraft crashed in the Atlantic Ocean, 8 miles off shore. All 7 occupants were rescued by a boat but the aircraft sunk. The pilot ditched the aircraft after a technical problem on the left engine. |
