The pilot was making a night cargo flight from West Memphis to Gainesville, Georgia. After takeoff, while flying 55 miles East of West Memphis, the pilot informed ATC that he wanted to return to West Memphis. The aircraft crashed in unknown circumstances 8 miles East of West Memphis and burned. The pilot was killed.
