After landing on runway 09, the commuter aircraft left the runway on its right and collided with the fire station located between both runways at Caracas-Simon Bolivar international airport. Four passengers were killed, 18 other occupants were injured and the aircraft was destroyed. The runway was wet at the time of the accident and a thunderstorm was approaching Caracas. |
