The twin engine aircraft collided with terrain during takeoff from a remote beach near Hallo Bay. 2 passengers were seriously injured and the wright wing was torned off, the fuselage was torn open. Gusty wind conditions blowing about 15 knots from the west at the time of the accident and the airplane probably encountered windshear. According to NSTB, the aircraft misplanified his flight and did not take into account wind component. |
