After a newspaper's delivery at Stornoway in the morning, the pilot was returning to Inverness when, in bad weather conditions, the aircraft hit a hillside 37 miles north west of Inverness airport. The pilot was descending from 9,500 feet. The cause of the accident was not determined. |
