Shortly after takeoff from Upland-Cable Airport, in
California, the twin engine aircraft banked to the right before crashing
into a house located near the airport. The pilot, Steven Kaplan, musical
director, was killed. Nobody was injured on ground. The right engine
propeller showed evidence of fatigue failure.
