While approaching Upland-Cable airport in bad weather conditions, the pilot lost his orientation and requested ATC assistance. The twin engine aircraft eventually banked to the right and crashed ointo a house located near the airport. The pilot, Steven Kaplan, musical director, was killed. Nobody was injured on ground. |
