Circumstances |

After takeoff bound for Teterboro on a ferry flight, pilots encountered problem to raise undercarriage. They elected to return to West Palm Beach but on short final, the aircraft hit violently the runway surface and the right landing gear punctured the right wing and the aircraft came to rest on runway. It appears that an engineer made a control of the Maintenance Data Acquisition Unit and disengaged the weight-on-wheel system. Before release the aircraft, the engineer forgot to reengage the WOW system. |
