  • While approaching Rockford Airport, the pilot reported fuel pump problems. On final, the twin engine aircraft apparently stalled and crashed short of runway threshold. All four occupants were slightly injured and the aircraft was damaged beyond repair as it broke in two. The airplane was owned by Edward B. Noakes III.
